Assalamualaikum,

Apart from being very busy becoming Deputy Head Invigilator for one examination center here in my college, I received two good newsback to back.

As soon as I arrived to work, someone test messaged me telling that the PTK result is out. Although I tried refraining myself from checking, I couldn't help it as the thought keep twisting my stomach and forced me to eventually send PTK [***ic no***] to 39003. The results? I passed UMUM paper : III and KHUSUS paper : IV. This means I only have to reseat UMUM paper until I get IV to get my pay rise. I am truly greatfull to Allah and those who have prayed and helped me all the way. Thanks.

After invigilating the first paper for the day, I went back to my cubicle only to receive more congratulation wish but I was shocked because I haven't told anyone bout the PTK results as yet. Surprisingly the congrats was not for the PTK results, but it was for the success of my Action Research Paper qualifying for the National Seminar at the end of this year. It was a puzzling for me as I don't remember my presentation at the Zone level at Seri Warisan was impressive enough to qualify me for later stage. I remember being head shot again and again during that presentation. Huhuhu. It was unbelievable for me and my co-researcher, Affaf to ever qualify out of hundreds of research paper aroung Malaysia, we are the top 30 who made it. And this is our very first attempt at it. Alhamdulillah. The only thing is that the paper really needed major modification before the National Seminar....Hmmm. More work to be done!!

Bonus news, my Ketua Jabatan a.k.a the RnD advisor, was even more excited than I was. She eventually asked Affaf and I to come and modify our SKT by adding this new achievement as a bonus marks for contribution for this year assessment. She said that qualifying for the National level carries a significantly high marks. And the good news just keep coming...hehe. The SKT marks are very important as this will help me in case I want to further my studies.

I remember smiling all day long...what a day. Hehe

Remember that 80's hit TV series Knight Rider? Where this Micheal Knight drives a black car named KITT going around help solving people's problems? Well, he's not back cause he's old and BTW he's busy judging America's Got Talent Show. Hehehe. But his son, Mike Traceur takes over his role in the all new TV show...

Knight Rider is a series that follows the 1982 TV series of the same title and the 2008 television movie. The series stars Justin Bruening as Mike Traceur, the estranged son of Michael Knight, who in turn becomes the new Knight Rider. The series also stars Deanna Russo as Sarah Graiman, Traceur's former girlfriend/current love interest. Sarah is daughter of Charles Graiman, played by Bruce Davison, the creator of a new generation of KITT (Knight Industries Three Thousand), voiced by Val Kilmer. In advance of its anticipated weekly run, the new Knight Rider series was introduced with a television movie on February 17, 2008. The new series premiered on NBC on September 24, 2008.



Well I can't help myself to follow this series apart from my favourite Smallville which already entered Season 8.

Yesterday, I went to watch the latest game to be transformed into a movie. This game was like 5 or 6 years ago and I liked it very much. The reason why I liked the game at that time was because it's co existence with The Matrix movie at that time. The bullet-time feature resembles Matrix-like movement was the key element that makes the game interesting apart from the captivating comic story line featured in the game.

Unfortunately, as for the Max Payne Movie, for a person who already experienced Max Payne from the game would see Mark Wahlberg is not the most suitable character that resembles Max Payne. I would imagine last time if there were to be a movie, it would be Nicolas Cage to portray Max.

My rate? 3.5/5 stars. Mainly because I was expecting much more Bullet-time scene but it was restricted to only a few scenes. As for the storyline, the original concept of a maverick cop trying to unravel the truth behind the murder of his beloved wife and baby.


My other comment is that this movie is very suitable for those who have played Max Payne before, but I must warn those who haven't might going to think that this is a boring movie. But for those who don't mind watching movie that talks a lot...maybe it's ok.

Received a lot of wedding reception invitation for today but unfortunately I was only able to attend only two of them and sent my regards to the ones I could not attend. The two invitations are from my relative and the other is from my best friend who grew up with me in this neighborhood.

I am going to just elaborate on the wedding of my best friend, Benyamin. We lived on the same street ever since we were born. I came onto this world one week early than him. Hehe. We practically had same interests like mountain biking, skate boarding and all those crazy wild things we used to do when we were a teenager. At least until we had to concentrate on our studies and that was when the gap began to grow and headed separate path of life.

Recently he rang and mentioned that his family is having the wedding reception at their new home somewhere in Rawang and really liked my whole family to come. I wouldn't miss it. After all we were close like brothers.

Yesterday my Mama gave me the shock of the day. Ever since I gave her my N70, she began exploring the functions of the phone like music player, video player, camera and video functions. Suddenly she made a breakthrough yesterday by finally figuring out how to MMS me all by herself and not only she shocked me with the newly skill that she obtained but also surprised me with this picture she sent in the MMS.

Not enough with two surprise in one day, she then told me that my car was already fixed just in one day. I guess today is my lucky day...Hiks.

Until then, can't wait to put that watch on and driving my car back...take care now bye bye then

Sorry I was unable to leave anything in this blog for the past few days. As told, I was busy with the R&D thingy and was cut down to a very unstable wireless connection which makes me almost impossible for me to publish any post.

I wanted to talk about the resort where I checked in last Monday. It was how should I say, a blast from the past. The resort is situated next to Mini Malaysia in Melaka. It's presence was not noticed until that day. Hiks. The resort is so 80's that all of the facilities in my room looks as if it was in a past. The thing is, all of them are still working just fine as if they werer brand new. Here are some of those 'ancient' things I talked about...


The program started later that evening where all of us was briefed about the whole setup of the presentation.


The next afternoon came my turn to present and I thought it went very well and of course with some advice to improve the paper presented.


Later that night, my old friend from maktab who currently teaching in Melaka Matriculation College decided to take me around Bandar Hilir at night. We wanted to watch a movie but it seems that no suitable movie was available except for some silly titles presented after raya. So we moved on to have something to eat at Restoran Subaidah located at the back of the newly opened Carrefour.

The following day, I've decided to take a swim in the resorts pool. For the first time I didn't have any limb cramps whatsoever. It was a good run of exercise after a long while.

During the closing ceremony, they never announced who got through to the national level as yet. I guess we going to have to wait for the result. Sincerely speaking, I don't mind whatever the verdict will be. If I go through, Alhamdulillah I might stand a chance to travel again. Hehe. On the contrary, I will also be happy if it ends here...kinda tiring to do all this. Hiks

I am writing from my table at the office. I won't be here for long as I will depart to Melaka for Research and Development Seminar where I will be presenting my research paper done by Affaf and I last semester. I am currently doing some preparations towards perfecting my presentation. Notes and handouts were all being prepared to ensure the smoothness of the presentation.

I will be away until Thursday. I am going to miss internet connection. I am worried about my 'kampung' being unattended, attacked and destroyed. Huhuhu...

Remember when I said the setbacks of updating the N95 firmware to v30 that we will have a menu icon that looks like this....

That big Menu Icon on top drives me crazy. Like I mentioned earlier I didn't like this but upgraded anyway...it's because I knew someone would come up with some way of reverting it back to its former state...

Please follow these simple steps:

1. Your phone must be hack using Drakkarious.
   
2. Download this .txt file
3. Copy the file into C:\private\10202be9 folder using xplore
4. Restart your phone.

Voila....

Mengikut tradisi yang telah diamalkan keluarga sejak sekian lamanya, adalah menjadi adat raya pertama disambut di rumah dan pada raya ke-2, pulang ke kampung Abah di Sijangkang Selangor. Di sana masih terdapat 4 orang adik beradik Abah manakala lagi seorang berada di Batu Pahat, Johor. Sebagai adik bongsu kepada adik beradik seramai 10 orang, adalah menjadi tanggungjawab adik untuk pergi melawat adik beradik yang lebih tua dan kebanyakannya sudah uzur.

Perjalanan dimulakan ke rumah abang Abah yang pangkat paling tua, Wak Ali. Dulu aku suka panggil dia Wak Sarsaparilla sebab setiap kali raya, mesti dia jamu air berkarbonat kat kitorang. Tapi dah makin tua dia dah tak sesuai minom air macam tuh atas tujuan menjaga kesihatan...hehehe. Wak nih pon baru terselamat dari terkena strok yang teruk tapi Alhamdulillah Wak Ali dah boleh jalan balik. Ini rumahnya yang baru setahun direnovate oleh anaknya yang juga kontraktor pembinaan. Gabungan baru dan lama...fusion theme. Hiks.

Destinasi kedua, rumah Wak Sapura. Satu-satunya akak Abah yang tinggal. Abah kata rupa Wak Sapura nih adalah mirip sangat wajah Nenek. Sebijik. Hiks. Wak Sapura nih pulak sakit pinggang. Cian dia. Rumah plak bertangga2. Tapi sekarang dok kat bawah je la. Keistimewaan rumah Wak nih plak...ada banyak jam dinding dalam rumah dia sebab suaminya memang pandai betulkan jam-jam antik. 20 yang dikira tergantung. Impressive.


Next stop, rumah Wak Kusnin. Dia nih pesara tentera. Banyak2 adik-beradik Abah, rasanya dia panggil nampak smart [no hard feeling Abah]. Sebabnya dia sorang je yang masih kelihatan sumer giginya. Hehe. Wak Kusnin nih pula baru pulih dari penyakit yang dikenali sebagai Vertigo. Penyakit saraf kot yang kadang2 membuatkan dia pengsan tiba2.


Last stop in Sijangkang, rumah Wak Ayob yang terletak kat belakang rumah Wak Kusnin je. 2 in 1 visit ler. Wak yang nih aku beri title Wak Happy Go Lucky. Tak pernah kedekut dengan senyuman. Memang feveret Wak aku sejak dulu. Hehe.

Anyway, memang inilah yang famili Cikgu amalkan setiap tahun selagi masih ada adik beradik Abah kat kampung nih. Itu je caranya nak pastikan masing2 kenal sedara mara masing2. Kalau tak jumpa tempat lain tak kenal.

Of course you can replace .wav files for your own .wav files, example explosion sound for capture1 etc.
