Tonsil and Tips on How to Remove it Naturally Without Surgery

| Sunday, August 23, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

I had a revelation today, particularly about a disease I have been suffering for the past decade. I am going to talk about my tonsil problem.

An infection on my tonsil for the past few days have caused it to bleed today. Not that it is the first time it happens but surprisingly this is the first time I have it during the fasting month. And only Allah knows how bad I suffered since yesterday. Nevertheless I still go on with my fasting routine. Would not want to tarnish my clean record.

Anyways, a visit to my regular clinic but this time with an unfamiliar consultation with a new doctor recommended me to have it remove. Based on my medical visit, he said that I was a genuine candidate to have it remove immediately. That gave me and my Mama a big scare. She even had a long discussion about the side effects that might occur once I have it removed. But in the end the doctor insisted that it was the best solution for me. As for me, I sincerely hate the thought of having a part of me sliced up. Not after I've been circumcised long time ago. Hehe.

My problem ever since High School

Anyhow, I came back home with a bag of medicines but still have to wait until Maghrib to eat them. I keep telling myself there should be some other ways of dealing with the problem. And I did some research over the internet. Here are my findings...

Tonsil stones, also known as tonsilloliths can be an embarrassing problem to have. They cause bad breath and the very feeling that some foreign object is there on your throat can be quite annoying. Fortunately, there are some simple natural tonsil stones remedies using which you can get rid of them in next to no time. Let us take a detailed look at these tonsil stones remedies, one by one.

1. There are some simple tonsil stones remedies that are very effective that you can try in your home. For example, using a mirror you can use a tongue scrapper and carefully remove them from your throat. You can also use a toothbrush for the purpose. The same procedure can be tried using a medicine dropper too.

2. The simplest among all tonsil stones remedies is to cough them out. In fact, in many cases, the stones loosen up and are removed when people cough.

3. Many people don't know that your diet may be holding many remedies within it. For example, a diet that consists of vegetable juices, soups and fruit smoothies is known to help in getting rid of these annoying lumps in the throat. You should try and avoid dairy products since they are known to be a causative factor for the condition.

4. Gargling with warm saline water several times is another one among all tonsil stones remedies. Gargling helps in loosening the stones and finally their removal. You can also use a good quality alcohol free mouth wash too for the same purpose. Remember, keeping good oral hygiene is important for all those who have these stones in their throat.

5. There are certain lifestyle changes that you need to make if you want to get rid of tonsilloliths. For instance, it is important that you avoid alcohol consumption, as well as smoking.

I'm gonna need more of these...

It's a stone??? That is new to me. I thought it was just a lump. And this is another something new to me...

You can use a tongue scrapper for tonsilloliths removal. You can get as far back in your mouth and get rid of the annoying stones. You can also use a toothbrush too for the same purpose.

Scrape it out? What the??? It is said that tonsil is a stone caused by excessive amount of calcium in our body. The funny thing is that I take a pill of calcium daily to make sure I have strong bones. This is a setback....hmmm.

Whatever it is, I am going to browse for more tips of getting rid of these tonsils permanently the natural ways without having to go through any operations. Wish me luck.

Macromedia Flash 8 Course

| Wednesday, July 22, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

After so many years of wishing, finally it came through. Ever since I started working, mainly from KMJ, I've always asked the superior to send me to a Macromedia Flash course. I would remind myself to make it a point to write it in my SKT form that I wanted to attend such course. But, unfortunately for me, I never had that opportunity there.

Today, for the past few days my wish finally became reality. I was sent to attend a Macromedia Flash 8 course here at Bahagian Teknologi Pendidikan Negeri Selangor, somewhere near Shah Alam. Although this time, the course was not arranged at any glorious hotel, I am satisfied because the main objective is to learn Flash and not bother about the accommodation.

I should be able to come up with some kind of a product at the end of the course. And maybe, just maybe I would share it in here with you guys...

Until then, take care now bye bye then...got Flash presentation to finish...huhuhu

RECSAM trip again...

| Wednesday, July 15, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

This time around, I made it again to the Regional Center for Education in Science and Mathematics or easily called RECSAM here in Penang. This time I was ordered to attend "Science as a Platform for Effective Integration of ICT, Mathematics and Language".

Funnily this course is not cheap (Though I don't mind since the office whose paying all this) and I was surprised that non-teaching staff like me being asked to attend such course. I should expect this kinda course when I was in matriculation. But hey, why complaint? I just think of it as a sponsored holiday for me. BTW, its been a while since I been to Penang.

I must say I always enjoy courses given by outsiders (Non-Malaysian) and in this case Mr. Colin Webb and Ms. Shirley Gibson, both from Australia. They always deliver a different approach even though here in Malaysia I realized that their method is more idealist rather than realist. I doubt that if we ever adapt that kind of approach here in Malaysia, non of the teachers will be able to finish the syllabus in time for exams. Yes, Malaysia education is exam-oriented no matter how hard we want to deny it.

It was interesting how they (Mr. Webb and Ms. Gibson) relates those tiny2 little detail to the education of Science and Maths. But personally I think its a little too far fetched.

one of the product I built during the course, never underestimate this wooden car's contributions towards education....hehehe

Anyhow, I did learn a lot, especially in the MS PowerPoint application which I didn't know exist before this.

Thinking of getting some tidbits to bring back home like the famous Buah Pala and Salak. Hiks. Until then, take care now bye bye then

Entry Bebas

| Tuesday, June 30, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

Mesyuarat, bengkel, taklimat? Name it, I've attend it. Bukan merungut, tapi suasananya sangat berbeza.

Harini aku sendiri kat pejabat. Panggilan bertalu2 pagi tadi mintak reset password username derang. Petang nih senyap sunyi pulak.

Baru ingat nak dok opis lagi, tetiba datang surat kena gi meeting plak kat esok kat BTP. Dah jadi macam duta tetap ke sana plak. Takpe...nasib baik kerja aku banyak atas talian je. So orang bermesyuarat aku boleh settlekan kerja aku sket sambil2. Nak tgk claim aku bulan depan adakah makin naik atau makin susut. Dah asyik kuar je manjang mau tak penuh table isi claim aku tiap-tiap bulan? Bos aku plak tak kesah, asal ada arahan kuar je dia kata apa susah, kan boleh claim. So kalau bos takde aral, aku pon no hal. Hehehe.

Itu yang kawan2 lama aku sumer cakap aku dok sini relex dan asyik jalan2. Memang ya. Tapi semua itu akan dicapai sekiranya kita dapat delegate kerja dengan baik. Jangan biarkan kerja bertimbun2 sampai kita takleh nak handle dah. Pasal itu bos aku tensen, tensen sebab aku siapkan kerja cepat dan tepat (huhuhu) sampai dia taktau nak suruh watper dah. Al-maklumla, new broom sweeps well.

"If you like challenges, then you will like it here". I hope he is right.

Parliament Duty

| Monday, June 29, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

Today is a historic day for me as today marks the first time I ever step into the Malaysian Parliament building for the first time. I always passes by next to it but I see no reason for me to even go there. But today, I have one.

Malaysian Parliament Building

Today along with another two more representative from KPM were scheduled to take note of any events or questions that might relate to KPM.

Even though I know the questions were prepared even before they start debating with each other, it's always fun to experience those things people see on TV 'live' with our own very eyes. Sometimes the conversations were even funny and hilarious. Hiks.

I must say that I'd only enjoyed the parliament during the morning session. After that, everything started to get a little bit boring.

Parliament Chamber

Anyway, what a day it was. An experience gained and a good one I guess. It would be a while until I even get another Parliament duty I guess. Let it not be so soon. Hiks

1st TOT (Training of Trainers) Experience

| Wednesday, June 24, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

Again with the lame excuse for not updating the blog more frequent. The truth is I was so indulge with my new work that I haven't have time to express myself in my beloved blog.

Today is a history, my first experience of giving away Training of Trainers (TOT) for teachers. I have taught matriculation before but this is totally a new experience. Teaching teachers instead is a major challenge for me. Butterflies were crashing all over my stomach area before I began the session. Fortunately for me, I began picking up those teaching skills I left few months ago. I am going to get a hang of this thing again. Suddenly I remembered what I missed at the college. The session finished without any hassle and gave me some sort of satisfaction in the end.

I will continue with the TOT for the second group of teachers this evening. Hope everything will go well again. Even though my hotel (Adamson) is located in Chow Kit area, but the view is not bad. I can see Istana Budaya clearly from here. A room all for myself isn't that bad factor either. Hiks.

Until then, take care now, bye bye then.

Kerispatih - Demi Cinta

| Sunday, June 14, 2009

Kerispatih – Demi Cinta

maaf ku telah menyakitimu
ku telah kecewakanmu
bahkan ku sia-siakan hidupku
dan ku bawa kau seperti diriku

walau hati ini trus menangis
menahan kesakitan ini
tapi kulakukan semua demi cinta

akhirnya juga harus kurelakan
kehilangan cinta sejatiku
segalanya telah kuberikan
juga semua kekuranganku

jika memang ini yang terbaik
untuk diriku dan dirinya
kan kuterima semua demi cinta

* jujur aku tak kuasa
saat terakhir ku genggam tanganmu
namun yang pasti terjadi
kita mungkin tak bersama lagi

** bila nanti esok hari
ku temukan dirimu bahagia
ijinkan aku titipkan
kisah cinta kita selamanya

repeat *

repeat **

demi cinta

Minit Curai

| Friday, May 29, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

Today I gained another new experience. I came to work normally like any other day, had my breakfast with my colleagues. Suddenly my boss approached me and told me that I need to replace him to attend a meeting at Bahagian Teknologi Pendidikan (BTP) in Bukit Kiara. He informed me exactly at 8:30 am and the meeting was scheduled to start at 9:00 am. I only have half an hour to be there and it's on the other side of KL.

So I decided to use my Garmin map in my N95 to guide me to use the shortest and easiest route. I end up using the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong. I arrived without any hassle. But was a little bit late as the meeting was already started when I came in.

The meeting ended at noon and I rushed back to my brother's house at Puchong and go to mosque together. After that I went back to office just to be informed that officers who went for a meeting outside the organizations are required to prepare a Minit Curai for whatever that means. I've heard of it before once during my college days but never imagine myself preparing one. Hiks. Lucky for me the template and examples were provided by my colleague here. Apparently this Minit Curai is compulsory for government servants who attend meeting outside their department. The purpose is to tell people in our own department about what have been decided in the meeting that we attend and what our actions needed in the course of the decision taken.

Alhamdulillah I remembered to become an active listener during the meeting and was able to jot down some important notes. However I was also distracted with the cold temperature of the meeting room which forced me to take a leave to the restroom in the middle of the meeting. Hiks.

So today, I've learnt how to become a temporary secretary. Hehehe. Salute to all secretary in the world for their patience in listening and jotting down important notes. Now I know how hard that job is. Hehehe. Until then, take care now bye bye then.

New Work Update

| Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

I am just going to share some experience at my new workplace. Before this, I was an ordinary teacher who was living his working live depending on a piece of paper called timetable. Going to class, lunchtime, and free period was all in there and all I have to do is just obey them and when it's time to go home, I just pack my stuff and leave. It's like premeditated and has been repeated for the past three years. It's not like I'm complaining, but that was how I was.

But today, I no longer depend on timetable to do anything. Everything is more of an initiative rather than force. However, work can sometimes come like a tsunami without prior notice. As a 'new broom', every task given to me was finished in a fraction of time. I not only surprise my boss but I even surprise myself. Never knew I could work that fast. Everyday here is like a new lesson for me. Not only in my work description, but also my daily working life survival if you might say. Everyone here is giving me tons and tons of advice about people around here but I much prefer to stay neutral and not take sides. Other than that, people here at the new place is very helpful and friendly. I find it little bit hard as I can be considered youngest officer here. So I better watch what I say. Hiks. They might be in a different transmission wavelength. They might perceive differently towards what I say.

Anyhow, I am trying to adapt myself from my previous discipline to this newly and challenging work.

Back in peace

| Sunday, May 24, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

Sorry it took me a while before I even find stability to even write down an entry. I am finally back in KL after a whole week attending a TOT (Training of Trainers) course. I had to attend it because it relates to majority of my work here in Putrajaya.

Although the training was quite like a continuity from previous courses and for me it was kinda like a crash short course, I must say that now I have clearer view of my new job description. I am now less worried than when I was during my first day at the job.

I can't wait for Monday to come where I can actually practice and ask for more help from the experienced co-worker. hiks

Sarawak : Third Day

| Wednesday, May 20, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

The course went as scheduled, I learn a lot about the work that I will be dealing with in the office. My boss was very supportive even though I asked a lot. But the important thing is that I have that ability to learn very fast. Alhamdulillah, I was able to swallow everything that my boss explained just once.

Apart from the course itself, Pn. Aida, the Liaison officer who is in charge of entertaining us from semenanjung was very friendly, helpful and was always willing to fulfill any of our wishes from semenanjung.

She brought us to the famous Sarawak Kek Lapis shop, the waterfront shoprows, Indian street and we were ven lucky to watch the World Harvest celebration where people from India, Sri Lanka and even Latvia came to perform their traditional dance. I manage to join the latvian dance after Laura(one of the dancer) pulled me in. I even twisted my ankle in the process. She was friendly enough to pose for a photo with me. Hehehe.

Latvian Dancers

Laura, the dancer who twisted my ankle...hehehe

Indian Street

We soon head back to our lodging place.

I am starting to get a hang of this job....Maybe I am going to be happy with my new work after all...

Sarawak - First Day, First Time

| Monday, May 18, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

Today is the first time my office mate took me lunch outside,

Today is the first time I ride the ERL,

Today is the first time I flew by myself,

Today is the first time I am staying in a room all by myself,

Today is the day I accepted who I am and what I am...

My First Day

| Sunday, May 17, 2009

Assalamualaikum,

Friday the 15 was the day I reported myself for duty in Putrajaya. I arrived as early as 7 am just to beat the traffic and book myself a nice shady parking spot. I am currently without my worker pass, therefore ineligible for a basement parking as yet.

Unfortunately, I had to wait until 8:15am until somebody from the administration office even bother being at the receptionist counter to entertain people. I guess that's how it works here. Apart from that, my pass application which I submitted last week still has not been processed yet which started to make my day a lousy start.

Was brought to my immediate boss, my Ketua Unit you might say and was quickly given a task of becoming a team to prepare a report for the innovation competition. As usual, editing and photoshopping is what I do best. Hehehe. Other than that, EMiS and MS Access are new things that I will have to learn very fast.

That's all I have to say right now, that was basically half of what I endured that day, I don't have a heart to say more...I just hope I blend in fast.
